FTP demonstrates this by openly sharing information about the entire trading process with both customers and producers, fostering honest and proactive communication. We establish mechanisms that encourage active participation from both parties in the trading chain. In the event of challenges, we collaborate with fair trade partners and other organizations to effectively address issues and implement solutions.

Fair Trading Practices
Fair Trade acknowledges, promotes, and safeguards the cultural identity and traditional skills of small producers, evident in their craft designs, food products, and related services. FTP actively educates about Fair Trade principles and refrains from reproducing the designs or patterns of other organizations without permission. The organization cultivates enduring relationships founded on solidarity, trust, and mutual respect, fostering the advancement and expansion of Fair Trade initiatives.

Payment of a Fair Price
Fair Trade empowers producers to establish prices that reflect the true costs of labor, time, materials, sustainable growth, and other relevant factors. FTP actively supports producers in developing the capacity to manage this pricing process effectively. We adhere to or surpass international, national, local, and Fair Trade Minimum standards for our employees and producers where applicable. Additionally, we strive for equitable income distribution, including equal pay for equal work between women and men. FTP ensures timely payment to all our partners as a fundamental aspect of our commitment.

Ensuring no Child Labour and Forced Labour
Fair Trade ensures that every child has the right to security, education, and play. Throughout the trading chain, FTP upholds and promotes the principles of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, alongside adherence to local laws and social norms. We transparently disclose any involvement of children in production processes. FTP vehemently opposes child trafficking and the exploitation of children for labor purposes.
